With a polymathic background as a music artist, visual artist, singer-songwriter, music producer, live performer, strategist, writer, and creative director, Sami has adopted the ‘phygital’ (physical-digital) persona of a web3 superheroine super sentient AI avatar character, VNCCII.
VNCCII is presented as a virtual interactive 3D avatar character driven via motion capture and broadcasting from Unreal Game Engine, which has enabled Sami to explore cross-media integration that traverses music, novels, animation, gaming, digital fashion, and merchandise for the Open Metaverse. In 2018, I created my company VNCCII which encompassed the inception of my virtual superheroine avatar persona. Since then, I’ve been creative directing and brand-building a grand narrative around the VNCCII character and a futuristic realm of characters. I’ve been building and exploring technologies, such as VR, AR, XR, real-time broadcasting and storytelling utilising Unreal Engine alongside the music aspect of production and live ‘phygital’ stage shows. As a VTuber character, I started the ‘Future Humans 3.0’ vodcast show with Cathy Hackl (‘Godmother of the Metaverse’) as the honorary first guest.”

She believes democratising technology, such as Unreal Engine’s real-time gaming, VR, AR, and XR, will also empower the web3 creator economy in the Metaverse and accelerate the Direct-To-Avatar economy. It will also steer the progression away from the screen to spatial computing and augmented reality. The increase in augmented reality with smart glasses and the flow of smart information will enable the Metaverse to reach its full potential, whereby the physical world is enhanced from the overlay of digital assets and experiences. Sami views the entertainment industry as one that will undergo a wide-ranging change, in which every aspect of storytelling will flourish if it’s gamified and prioritises the community for a co-creation experience in the Metaverse and web3.
As a multimedia storyteller that has developed Metaverse native IP, Sami is certain the world will see the rise of new stars with fresh stories that will evolve and develop with the Metaverse and web3. Sami is resolute that the Metaverse is not a substitute or replacement for real-world engagements.
