With 15 years of trading stocks as a broker on Wall Street, Dajana adopted cryptocurrencies and traded in crypto early. Her expertise and insights were recognized in the industry, as she traveled extensively as a keynote speaker talking about normalizing decentralization.
During the pandemic, her husband approached her nonchalantly one evening to ask if she had started trading and investing in NFTs. “Having absolutely no idea what he was referring to, he sat me down for few hours and broke the entire process down for me,” she recalls. “Then, like most of us in the space, I went down a rabbit hole, inhaling as much content as possible. I was forever hooked, and it changed my entire approach to business and investing in the future.”
It isn’t a straightforward process for mass adoption to occur. For a decentralized Metaverse to work, she says multiple users must become stakeholders in its operation through investment in its native cryptocurrency token, which is intrinsically linked to the platform’s architecture. At present, she believes this concept is foreign to average eyes: achieving mass adoption will require significant educational onboarding with web3 brands and individuals to self-educate.

According to Dajana, the Metaverse creates limitless opportunities. From a funding perspective, she says that web3 mass adoption is starting with the biggest companies now actively participating in the space. “With the likes of Meta, Google, Microsoft, Roblox, and Adidas – to name but a few – we will see more investors exponentially participating in more activity.”
She believes the Metaverse has also transformed the economy in two ways: first, by providing an alternative investment instrument by way of blockchain; second, by opening new asset classes. This, she understands, translates into a bullish environment with moderate to high-risk appetite.
Her most exciting feeling for the future comes from being a mother. “It is imperative that my daughter, Ella, knows that years from now, their parents made even a small dent and contribution in developing the web3 space simply by being fully present in it, connecting with the right people, and giving their best to make a statement.”
