AVNEET KOHLI

“A clear vision backed with self-confidence and consistent action helps you create the life you desire.”

Ambition doesn’t fail because founders lack drive. It fails when they build without a clear vision and the right support systems. For Avneet Kohli, this realization came early in her career. “I was successful by every external measure,” she reflects, “but I’d lost internal alignment.”

Her journey reveals a truth many high-performing founders discover too late: doing everything alone can generate momentum in the short term, but it quietly limits long-term personal and business growth. Without vision, structure, and ecosystem support, even the most capable leaders find themselves operating at the edge of burnout or stagnation.

That insight reshaped how she came to define ambition, success, and scale. Today, Avneet is a Vision Coach and the Founder of Encubay Middle East, a cross-border ecosystem for business, capital, and growth.

Through Encubay, she has enabled over 7,500 founders across the UAE, India, and international markets to access mentorship, capital pathways, strategic networks, and opportunities for global expansion. But the platform itself emerged from something more personal: a lived understanding of what founders truly need to scale.

“Knowledge, networks, and capital, when accessed at the right time, can fundamentally change a founder’s trajectory,” she explains.

What began as a mission to help women founders scale and raise capital evolved into a broader mandate: building global pathways where capital and innovation intersect across markets. Alongside her work at Encubay, Avneet partners with financial institutions, enterprises, funds, and government bodies to design programs and initiatives that accelerate SME growth and enable cross-border opportunities.

Living Fast, Unanchored

Avneet spent over a decade in the media as a presenter of live corporate events, working alongside senior leaders across business and entertainment. Success came early. Visibility followed naturally. From the outside, momentum looked effortless.

At the same time, she launched her first business in image consulting and leadership development driven by instinct, ambition, and sheer will. What she didn’t have were formal business frameworks, access to mentors, or an ecosystem that could support sustainable growth. “I was building in isolation,” she reflects. “And I didn’t yet understand the cost of doing everything alone.”

Balancing media prominence with business growth quietly eroded her sense of equilibrium – until her body forced the pause her mind had postponed. “Burnout forced me to let go of the version of myself I thought I needed to be,” she says.

That moment marked not an ending, but a reckoning – one that would fundamentally reshape her next chapter.

Rebuilding from the Inside Out

She returned to her parents’ home in Abu Dhabi after nearly a decade of living independently in Mumbai. Life shifted quickly: geographically, emotionally, and professionally, and she now had to find her footing again. For the first time in years, she was forced to slow down.

“Letting go of my media career was particularly difficult. In the media industry driven by visibility and immediacy, absence often means erasure. My solopreneur-led business inevitably bore the brunt of the transition I was going through.” she says.

With time, space, and family support, she found coaching as a pathway forward for self healing and growth. She went on to earn her ICF credential, and completed nearly 300 hours of coaching.

Building What Was Missing

As she deepened her coaching practice, her niche became clear. Women entrepreneurs came to her with ideas, capability, and drive, but without the systems, confidence, or ecosystem required to scale sustainably. Coaching helped them clarify their vision; what they lacked next was access. Encubay was designed to meet that need.

Encubay emerged directly from that insight. It was built in response to gaps Avneet had lived through firsthand: lack of readiness, lack of support, and limited access to global networks and capital. “I didn’t lack ambition,” she explains. “I lacked the infrastructure that allows an entrepreneur to scale with ease.”

Redefining Success

“For a long time, success meant moving fast,” she reflects. Avneet’s definition of success has evolved significantly. Where it once centred on external validation, it is now anchored in helping others achieve their dreams.

This philosophy underpins The Life Planner, her thinking system and practical toolkit designed to help ambitious entrepreneurs and professionals clear mental clutter, set intentional goals and design their next chapter.

The Challenges Women Continue to Face

When asked about the most critical challenges facing women founders today, Avneet is candid. “Lack of capital and lack of capital readiness are still major barriers,” she says. “But beneath that is often a lack of vision.”

She believes many women don’t allow themselves to dream big. They get stuck in lifestyle dynamics, day-to-day operations, rather than taking a macro strategic view of where their life and business are going.

“I want to be a catalyst. My infinite game is to inspire, elevate, and multiply growth for founders and next-gen leaders.”

A Considered Legacy

We asked her to distill her philosophy into ten words. She doesn’t hesitate: “Vision, self-confidence, and consistent action are the foundations of lasting and holistic success.”

In a world increasingly driven by speed, Avneet Kohli’s work stands as a reminder that the most enduring futures are built slowly, consciously, and from the inside out.
