As I reflect on the journey of women in Dubai (and beyond), I’m reminded of the indomitable spirit that has shaped so many lives. My own story is deeply rooted in inspiration from strong women, beginning with my mother, who bravely left Jamaica at a young age to build a new life in America. Her courage and resilience have been a source of encouragement for me and my sisters. When I arrived in Dubai over a decade ago, this vibrant city was everything I had hoped for—a melting pot of potential big dreams waiting to be realized. What struck me most was the leadership and vision of women here—bold and intelligent women who were redefining what it means to be a leader. We must champion workplaces dedicated to genuinely empowering and uplifting women in corporate settings.

Our all-female board of advisors—professionals from Oxford University, DeBeers Diamond Corporation, and NBA Africa—is a testament to women’s capabilities in industries ranging from tourism and marketing to education and banking.
