For Hadil Al Khatib, food is not just fuel – it’s medicine, culture, and legacy. As the CEO and co-founder of The Broth Lab, The Roost Rotisserie, and Catcha Matcha, she has built three award-winning UAE brands that are revolutionizing what everyday nourishment looks like.
“My mission is simple: honor ancestral wisdom, trust the body’s innate ability to heal, and never compromise on integrity,” she says. “I believe true wellness is about absorption, not trends; community, not competition.”
Hadil’s mission is deeply personal. Growing up in Abu Dhabi, surrounded by diverse cultures and cuisines, she absorbed the belief that food connects generations and carries healing wisdom. That belief became her lifeline after the birth of her first child, when she faced a health crisis that left her fatigued, depressed, and unheard by the medical system.
“For three years, I lived with confusing, ‘undiagnosed,’ and often dismissed symptoms that left me exhausted and told it was all in my head. Determined to heal as naturally and holistically as possible, I discovered firsthand the profound connection between the gut, the body, and emotional well-being,” she recalls.
It was her first big “aha” moment: “Healing is not just about what we consume, but what our body can absorb. If the gut barrier is compromised, no supplement or trend will truly work.” That realization became the foundation for her businesses.
Out of this personal struggle, Hadil built solutions that could serve others. The Broth Lab brings gut-healing bone broths to everyday kitchens. The Roost Rotisserie redefines comfort food with clean, ethically sourced chicken. Catcha Matcha introduces innovative matcha-based creations to a convenience-driven lifestyle.
“Through my mission and passion, I create a positive impact by making gut health accessible and practical, bringing back ancestral healing wisdom through modern, award-winning concepts,” she explains.
Each venture reflects her holistic approach – blending science, ancestral tradition, and accessibility. “Everyone seeking to restore their health from the inside out will benefit from my work – whether they’re struggling with fatigue, gut imbalances, hair loss, or skin issues. From busy families to health-conscious individuals, my mission is to make healing foods accessible so entire communities can thrive naturally.”
Recognition has followed. From winning Shark Tank Arabia to being recognized by Forbes US, and collaborating with global wellness icons like ProLon, Chiva-Som, and Birkenstock, Hadil has taken her vision to the international stage. Yet for her, the real success is seeing tangible transformations: “Witnessing real changes in people’s energy, skin, hair, and overall wellbeing – combining business impact with meaningful health outcomes – is what makes my work truly fulfilling.”
Hadil’s work is about more than nutrition – it’s about empowering women and communities. “I grew up passionate about creating a safe and supportive space for mothers and women to honor their needs, own their power, and speak their truth,” she says.
Her leadership style is shaped by her identity. “I like to refer to my brand as Emirati concepts with a Palestinian soul,” she explains. “Navigating cultural expectations and business challenges required confidence, persistence, and collaboration. By staying true to my values, I’ve built a female-forward, community-focused business that bridges tradition with innovation. Isn’t this what the UAE is all about? Tolerance and daring to dream big!”
Her advice to women carving out their paths is clear: “Trust your intuition, embrace your unique perspective, and never be afraid to lead with authenticity. Prioritize your wellbeing, build supportive networks, and focus on creating impact rather than simply chasing recognition – your vision and integrity will pave the way for lasting success.”

Hadil believes wellness is foundational to society’s future. “When people are nourished from the inside out, they have more energy, clarity, and resilience to show up fully – as parents, leaders, and community members,” she says. “By healing our guts, restoring balance, and reconnecting with natural, ancestral foods, we’re not only improving individual lives today but also planting the seeds for healthier children, stronger families, and a society that thrives on vitality rather than surviving on quick fixes. True health is legacy. Nothing can be achieved if you are not healthy.”
Her philosophy challenges modern wellness fads. “Innovation matters, but only when rooted in nature and truth,” she insists. By focusing on absorption, integrity, and community, she shifts the conversation from quick fixes to lasting transformation.
Looking to the future, she is optimistic: “In the next five to ten years, the health and wellness industry will continue shifting from trend-driven fads to science-backed, holistic approaches. Consumers will prioritize gut health, functional nutrition, and foods that support mental, physical, and emotional well-being – all delivered in convenient, sustainable formats. I hope to play a leading role in this evolution by creating products and concepts that merge ancestral wisdom with modern innovation, making true nourishment accessible to busy lifestyles.”
For Hadil, the future is female, but also deeply communal. By supporting women, building female-led teams, and restoring natural health practices, she is creating stronger, more resilient societies.
Her message to the world is as bold as it is simple: “Heal your gut, honor your body, transform your life.”
Beyond her ventures, she has co-authored Corporate Social Performance: Paradoxes, Pitfalls, and Pathways to a Better World, extending her impact into thought leadership and global dialogue on corporate responsibility.
Hadil Al Khatib’s story is one of perseverance, vision, and transformation. From her darkest health crisis to the bright lights of Shark Tank Arabia, she has proven that resilience, authenticity, and ancestral wisdom can spark global change.
She is not just shaping the wellness industry – she is shaping the future. Her journey is a reminder that women leaders can redefine what success means: not just profits and recognition, but healthier families, empowered communities, and a legacy of true nourishment.
