Making of a Tech Visionary
Roxana’s entrepreneurial journey is one of determination, innovation and continuous learning. Beginning her entrepreneurial journey at just ten years old, she became acquainted with technology early on, handling email communications for her father’s business in 2002. Entering university in 2008 she became fascinated with data, sparking her interest in project construction, data modelling software and data handling. Roxana balanced her university studies, research commitments and online freelancing to sustain herself financially. Her first online earnings came from writing tech articles, which made her question the need for intermediaries in business transactions. This realisation led her to approach clients directly and seek contracts in data modelling and marketing, leading to collaborations with companies globally.
In 2012 Roxana took on the role of country manager for Elance.com, a major global remote work platform, where she educated and mentored over 30 000 individuals and companies, facilitating the remote work lifestyle. Concurrently she established boutique marketing and SEO agencies. Her introduction to Bitcoin in late 2013 during an entrepreneurial meetup sparked a curiosity that would eventually lead her to delve deeper into the crypto realm. Her second ‘aha’ moment came in 2015 when she realised that Bitcoin and its potential were not going away. In 2017 she joined a healthtech startup and recognised the importance of privacy and personal data due to fragmented healthcare systems, leading to a TEDx talk on Digital Identity.
By 2021 she developed and led Launchpool Labs – the first Web3 community incubator that granted NFT‑gated access to the community to the earliest launchpad rounds. Roxana’s worldly experience and profound insights from various industries led her to join the boards of Impulse4Women and Cleantech360 in 2019, which focus on fostering social impact, business growth and support for women founders. By late 2022 she returned to her initial passion: data modelling, exploring the intersection between AI and Web3. In 2023, after relocating to London under the TechNation Exceptional Talent Global Talent visa route, she founded IP3 Studio.
