Founder & CEO, Big Smile Co

It’s a necessary time for women to help write the future by creating and innovating how things are done. While we can’t predict anything, these women are doing the exhausting work to develop critical paths for more equitable, secure, and inclusive spaces for future generations.

This book is essential to celebrate the accomplishments of women advancing all aspects of our world, from privacy, security, and AI to healthcare, science, engineering, and arts and culture. The featured women are transforming our lives in significant ways.

I’m grateful to be on the Women of the Future board and a sister in arms transforming the media landscape using communications and technology.

As a proud Colombian-American and first-generation US citizen, it hasn’t been easy to create a seat at male-heavy tables to shift paradigms. My peers and I on the board clearly never took the easy path.

Since 2003-ish, I’ve spent decades telling burgeoning stories, from video streaming disrupting TV to influencer content changing advertising, virtual reality transforming content experiences, and social good merging with tech innovation.

I’ve led communications at companies that scaled from tens to thousands through significant mergers and acquisitions, including NBC Universal Telemundo, Hulu, and Fullscreen, as well as philanthropic giants like the Annenberg Foundation. My career has also included collaboration with athletes, celebrities, artists, and creators who have transformed global culture.

My favorite part of the work has been starting my company, Big Smile Co, bringing in new talent, and exploding perceptions of what business is and what it can be.

With Women of the Future, we provide a timestamp of this incredible moment and proof that change is the only constant. We should keep all eyes on this remarkable list of women leaders to see how their work inspires the next generation.
